How we got here
Some stories take their time. Ours did.
We are not going to pretend there was one single moment. There were hundreds of small ones, and they quietly added up until neither of us could imagine the arithmetic going any other way.
Somewhere along the line the question stopped being if and turned into when. This is the when.
On the nineteenth of October, in front of the people who make up most of the story so far, we are starting the next part of it. We would very much like you to be in the room.
